Today there’s a 2-for-1 on my poems (in keeping with the challenge of the day!)
Supply and Demand
“Supply and Demand!”
Was the salesman’s command
When the sceptic said, “Sell me a Bic!”
“Write your name then!”
“But… I don’t have a pen.”
Said the suitably crestfallen cynic.
Disgruntled Daisies
There’s an insufferable queue
For the two Portaloos
And my bladder’s the size of a pea seed
The plants won’t be thrilled
But my modesty will
For I have my trustiest Shewee!
These were written for NaPoWriMo. The challenge of the day was to write an advertisement-poem.
